McCARROLL (late of Glencairn, Leopardstown, Dublin, Ballyiffen and formerly of Carndonagh, Co. Donegal) November 29, 2015, suddenly at her Dublin residence, Dr. Nuala, beloved daughter of the late Jim and Sheila McCarroll and beloved sister of the late Dr. Maire McCarroll. She will be sadly missed by her sister Maeve (Barry), her brothers Jim, Patrick, Laurence and Paul, her sisters-in-law Grainne and Ailish, her nieces and nephews, her cousins Mary and Declan O'Donnell and their families and her very many friends and former colleagues in St. James's Hospital. Reposing until 10.00pm at her late residence in Ballyiffen, Co. Donegal this (Tuesday) evening on arrival from Dublin. House private at all other times. Funeral Mass at 11.00am tomorrow (Wednesday) in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis.

I only heard today of Nuala's passing. I am so shocked. She was a very good friend to me all those years ago in St James' Hospital and subsequenty. May she rest in peace.Nessa ODonnell
