CANNING - Des (First Anniversary). In loving memory of Des Canning, late of Coote's Lane, College Road, Kilkenny who died on June 29, 2020. Dearly missed by his loving wife Vera, daughters Maeve and Sheila, sons Harry, Liam and Jim, adored grandchildren, daughters in law and sons in law.

On this first anniversary of Des' passing, we his family would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciated the kind expressions of sympathy and support we received from friends, neighbours and extended family. A special word of gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for Des in his final few months with such compassion, Dr. Frank Chambers, Imelda and her colleagues in the Kilkenny Home Care Team and the doctors and staff at Bon Secours Hospital Cork. Also sincere thanks to priests of St Patrick's parish and the staff of Hehir's Funeral Home.
