CONNOLLY Joseph (Joe) (Sandyford and formerly Taney Road, Goatstown). On the First Anniversary of his death his wife, Eleanor and children Susan, Joanne, Stephen, Rebecca and Robert would like to thank their wonderful relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours who sympathised and supported them during their very sad loss. Grateful thanks to everyone who attended the Funeral Home, Funeral Mass and burial in Our Lady's Island, Wexford. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent flowers, letters and cards of sympathy. We thank both Carnegies and Fanagan's Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness. Thanks to Fr. Tony Coote, of the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion whose beautiful service helped to console us and the Funeral Ministry Team for their guidance. Thanks also to Gary and Katie Burke for their beautiful singing at the Mass and graveside. A very special thanks to Dr. Ray McDermott and the staff of Tallaght Hospital and the Beacon Hospital for their great care and attention to Joe during his final illness. Sincere thanks to Fr. James Murphy for the graveside prayers and the Parish Office of the Church of the Assumption, Our Lady's Island, for their help and support. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass has been offered up for your intentions."When they built you brother,
they broke the mold"

Sorry for your loss. I rember Joe 36 years ago when used to frequent South Dublin Athletic Club based Raphaels with Joanne and give me a lift to Goatstown after. He was a lovely man and always smiling.
