TOOHEY, Rev. Fr. Seamus C.C. (Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) (Formerly of Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo) - October 19, 2014 at St. Vincent's University Hospital, (peacefully) in the presence of his family, in his 91st year having served as a priest of the Archdiocese of Dublin for 65 years. Predeceased by his sister Mamie O'Connor and brothers Sean and Roger (Tonie); very sadly missed by his nieces Marie, Annette, Noreen and Marguerite, nephew Rory, brother-in-law Pat O'Connor, cousin Mai Treacy, his grandnieces and nephews, his devoted house keeper Mai, his great friend Fr. J.A. Gaughan, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, his fellow priests, relatives, friends especially his loyal and supportive parishioners. Ruhe in Frieden. Removal this (Tuesday) evening to Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue arriving at 6 o'c. Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 10 o'c. Concelebrated Requiem Mass to St. Kevin's Churchyard, Glendalough, Co. Wicklow.
