ROCHE (St Mary's Priory, Cork and late of Limerick) - May 9, 2016, (peacefully), at Milford Care Centre, Castletroy, Limerick, Rev. Fr. Simon (Michael) O.P.; deeply regretted by his brothers James and Niall, sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Win, nieces, nephews, his Dominican Confreres, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing at Milford Care Centre today (Tuesday) from 2.30pm to 4pm. Reposing at the Community Oratory (St. Mary's Priory, Popes Quay, Cork) tomorrow (Wednesday) from 4pm, followed by Removal at 6pm to St. Mary's Church, Popes Quay. Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in the Dominican Plot, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Tory Top Road.www.jerhoconnorfuneralhomes.ie

So sorry to hear of Fr Simons death RIP. Such a lovely and interesting priest. I loved to hear him speak at Dominican gatherings. May God bless you always Simon for I will never forget you. ST Dominic pray for us.

Sr. Rose Mary OP Dominican of the Presentation​. With gratitude and and much love we remember Fr. Simon Roche. He was a man of inculturatio​n. He was very much a man who loved to build relationship with in the Dominican family in India.
