TOOMEY, Michael (Foxrock, Dublin 18 and formerly Limerick)- July 7th, 2020 (Peacefully) after a long illness patiently borne, surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the Ashbury Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Jane and John, cherished husband of Mary, loving father of John, Eamonn, Elaine, David, Alison, Mary and Rachel, Michael will be sadly missed by his many beloved grandchildren, his dear sisters, Sr. Eileen Toomey (LCM), Jenny and Sheila, his close friends, and by all who knew and loved him. May he Rest in Peace. In line with the recent government guidelines on public gatherings a private Funeral Mass for Michael will take place tomorrow (Friday) in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock. The Service can be viewed online at https://www.mcnmedia.tv/cameras/church-of-the-guardian-​ange​ls-blackrock-dublin. Please remember Michael at 10.00am. Those who would have liked to have attended Michael’s Funeral Mass but due to the current restrictions cannot, may leave personal messages of condolence for the family at www.irishtimes.com.
