HANNIGAN, Joan (née O'Gorman), (Collins Avenue, Dublin 9) August 7, 2016 (peacefully), after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity, at the Mater Private Hospital; beloved wife of Aidan, loving mother of Claire, Fiona and Seamus and sister of the late Maura (Bergin). Sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, son, sister Margaret, brothers Fran, Brian and Donal, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joan will be reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5pm to 7pm with family in attendance. A celebration of Joan's life will be held at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery on Thursday morning at 10 o'c followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired to Breast Cancer Ireland. "They lived and laughed and loved and left"
