HUGHES, Bobby (Shankill, Co. Dublin) – April 16, 2018, peacefully in the outstanding care of the medical and nursing team in the Nightingale Unit at the Blackrock Clinic; beloved husband of the late Rita, loved and loving Dad of Derek, Robert and Gary, dearly loved and affectionate Grandad of Robert and Jenny; Megan, Mark and Holly; Leo, Lucy and Grace, fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law Dara and Paula, brother Ken, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. A Celebration of Bobby’s life will take place today (Thursday) at 2.00pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6W. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Blackrock Hospice. “O commemorate me where there is water, Canal water, preferably, so stilly. Greeny at the heart of summer. Brother commemorate me thus beautifully”
