DILLON, Comdt. William (Bill) (formerly of Peck’s Lane, Castleknock and Collins Barracks, Dublin) January 19 2018 (peacefully) in the care of his family and the staff at Tara Winthrop Nursing Home; beloved husband of the late Nora and loving father of Liam, Gretta and Kieran. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Ger, grandsons Ciaran and William and sister Mai. Very sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Niamh, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Ciara, Oisin and Aisling, sister Rita, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May He Rest In Peace. Removal on (Tuesday) morning to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock arriving at 9.50 o’clock for funeral Mass at 10 o’clock followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to “CanTeen” Ireland, Carmichael Centre, Dublin 7.
