FORDE, Sean Lauri (Howth Road Raheny, Dublin) - May 8, 2020. Peacefully, in his 88th year, in the kind and loving care of the Sisters and Staff at Sacred Heart Residence, Sybill Hill. Devoted and much loved husband of Eilis and adored dad of Fiona, Fionnuala, Anthony and Brian, father-in-law of Lisa, Stephen and Denise, and much loved grandad of Daniel, Oisin, Meadhbh and Gráinne. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Colum and Dr. Anthony, sisters Josephine and Brenda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sean’s funeral will take place tomorrow Tuesday 12th May at St John the Evangelist, Kilbarrack. The Mass will be private due to the current restrictions. ‘Go mbeirimid’ Slán, grá mór go deo.

My sympathy and prayers for Sean and all of you at this time. The isolation of the past many weeks only make it harder. I recall him coming to St Louis High School, Rathmines to teach, what I think was, chess. A gentleman. Eithne Woulfe
