KENNY, Anne (Sandymount, Dublin) February 15, 2024, peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at the Blackrock Clinic, Dublin, after a long illness so very bravely fought. Anne will be deeply missed and remembered by her loving parents Frank and Pauline, sister Sandra, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, colleagues and neighbours. Rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum, this evening (February 19) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal tomorrow morning (February 20) to St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, arriving for 10 o’clock Funeral Mass, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired to Irish Cancer Society.
KENNY - Anne (late of Sandymount, Dublin 4) - As we remember Anne with much love on her First Anniversary (February 15, 2024), her parents Frank and Pauline and her sister Sandra wish to sincerely thank our extended families, friends, neighbours, and colleagues who supported and comforted us during her illness and since her passing. To all those who attended Anne's Reposal and Funeral Mass (including those who joined online) we deeply appreciated your support and were touched by the affection and esteem in which she was held. To those who sent cards, Mass cards, beautiful letters, and condolences, we are very grateful. Special thanks to Fr. John McDonagh for his kindness and for making the Funeral Mass so meaningful. Sincere thanks to Fanagans for their professional handling of arrangements. We thank the staff of SVPH and Blackrock Clinic who took such wonderful care of Anne throughout her long illness. Special thanks to Dr. David Fennelly for his kindness to Anne and his exceptional care of her. A Mass has been offered for your intentions.   Anne's wonderful sense of humour and love of life is greatly missed by us all.
