WALSH, Gabriel (Gay)

WALSH, Gabriel (Gay) (Foxrock, Dublin and late of Tuam, Co Galway), beloved and devoted husband of Maura, loving Dad to Frances, Ronan and Brídín and Grandad to Adam and Jamie, peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2021, following a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers Kilian, Micho and Hilary. Gay will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his sons and daughters in law Niall, Ciarán, Aisling and Amber, his brother Fabian, his sister-in- law Berna, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and carers. Gay was gifted with an amazing ability to bring joy and warmth to those around him. His gentleness and easy nature will be sadly missed by his extended family, his dear friends and neighbours, his past Engineering colleagues and all those who knew him through swimming, water polo, the IASA and the Olympic Council. His funeral cortège will leave his house at 10.40am to arrive at Foxrock Church at 11am on Thursday, March 25.
