COGAN, Bridie Cogan (née Jennings), Killadoon House, Ballindoon, Riverstown, Co Sligo. On Friday July 19, 2019, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Sheemore ward in St Patrick's Community Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon in her 100th year, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Bernie, daughter Myra, son Anthony (Thurles) and son-in-law Sean O Dowd. Deeply and deservedly regretted by her sons Brian (Castleknock), Kieran (Killadoon), Gerard (Malahide), by her daughters Breedge Sharkey (Knockarush, Boyle), Kathleen O Dowd (Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon), Deirdre Waterhouse (Kerry), Martina Cogan O Dowd (Knockadalteen, Carrick-on-Shannon), by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law Mary Jennings (Dublin), nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. May her gentle soul Rest in peace. Reposing at St Patrick's Hospital Chapel, Carrick-on-Shannon today (Saturday) from 5pm to 8pm and at her home in Killadoon, F52W322, from 4pm to 8pm tomorrow (Sunday). Removal on Monday morning to arrive at Ballyrush Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private outside of the above times please. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
