MEADE - Tony (Lisnabuntry, Virginia, County Cavan) - February 23, 2026, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents James and Marie (Morgan) and brother Donal. Deeply regretted by his brother John, sisters-in-law Marie-Therese and Eithne, his nieces Constanza, Sofia and Kiera and nephew Rory. Tony will be missed by his family, cousins and friends. Reposing in Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82 YV58) tomorrow (Saturday), February 28, from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass this Sunday March 1, at 11 am in St Marys Church, Cross, County Cavan (A82 CK73) followed by burial in Raffoney Cemetery.
