McCARTHY (Mhic Cárthaigh) Maighread, Mount Merrion, died September 24, 2015 - On this, the First Anniversary of Maighread's death, her children, Ann, Brendan, Desmond and Niamh, her grandchildren, her brother and sisters, and her extended family would like to thank most sincerely all of those who supported us in this sad and difficult time. We wish to express our gratitude to all who called to her home, attended the Funeral Mass, and sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and messages of condolence. We also wish to express a special word of thanks to Canon J. Anthony Gaughan, Fr. Tony Coote, and Fr. Liam McCarthy who concelebrated the Funeral Mass. Also, a special "thank you" to Professor Bernard Walsh and Dr. Pat Feeney, and the sisters and staff of Our Lady's Manor, Dalkey for their care and kindness to Maighread in the last months of her very long life. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation.
