ROCHE, Richard (Clontarf, Journalist, Author and Historian) - March 28, 2015, (peacefully), at St. Francis Hospice, beloved husband and best friend of Elizabeth (Betty) and much loved father of Darina, Lorcan and Ronán; Dick will be sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Ingmar, his five adored grandchildren Oisín, Eve, Piper, Juliette and Isobel, his siblings Carmel, Sean and Ray, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand tomorrow (Tuesday) with family in attendance from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Anthony's Church, Clontarf arriving at 9.50 o'clock for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium.
ROCHE Richard. (Clontarf, formerly of Wexford). On the First Anniversary of his death on March 28. His wife Elisabeth (Betty), children, Darina, Lorcan, and Ronan, along with Richard's siblings, Ray, Carmel and Sean, Elisabeth's siblings Joan and Michael, nieces and nephews, wish to express sincere thanks for the extraordinary support received at the time of Richard's death. Particularly from those who travelled long distances, those unable to travel due to ill-health, (Sean, his brother and his wife Mary), those who kindly sent Mass cards, flowers, letters of sympathy. Deeply moving words and gestures of support came from far and wide. Our heartfelt gratitude for the tender care given to Richard by the staffof St. Francis's Hospice Raheny. Special thanks also go to Dermot at Kirwan's Funeral Home, for his kindness and attention to detail. Many thanks to Fr. Larry at St. Anthony's Church Clontarf. We will be forever grateful. As it is impossible to name so many who shared our loss, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.'And did you get what
