ROGERS Dorothy (Dot) (née Larkin), (Kia-Ora, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk), who died May 9, 2018, suddenly at the Mater Private Hospital. Dorothy's family, her daughters Patricia, Rosemary and Annmarie, grandchildren Patrick, Oisín, Irene and Rían, great-granddaughter Molly, sons-in-law Michael, Declan and Alan, Oisín's fiancée Sinead, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Padraig Keenan PP of Haggardstown and Blackrock Parish, for all his prayers and kindness before and after Mammy's passing and for the memorable Funeral Mass which reflected Mammy's life so well. To Fr. Ronan Cusack OP, Fr. Brian White CC, for Concelebrating and attending the Funeral Mass, and the Church Caretaker Sean McAleavey. To Fr. Gus Champion O.P., Fr. Brian Slater, Fr. Gerry Campbell and Fr. Joseph Ralph who said prayers in the Funeral Home, our sincere thanks. To all who attended our Family Home, Funeral Home, Funeral Mass, sent Mass Cards, travelled a distance, sent flower tributes, sent letters, texts and emails, many thanks. To Trevor Clarke, Sarah McCourt and Ruth Kelly the music was wonderful. To Caroline and her staff of the Flowers Studio, the flowers were beautiful. A Special word of thanks to our local Funeral Directors, Quinn's, Dixon's, Shevlin's, and Finlays who all showed such dignity and kindness both to Mammy and the family during the funeral and also to Rice's, Heeney's, Connor's and Wards of Dublin who attended the Funeral. To Briege our family friend who has always been there for us all. To Mammy's friends who took her out to lunch weekly, she loved every minute spent with you girls. To Dr. Olga Lynch we are so grateful for all the care you gave to Mammy over many years. To Dr. Hugh McCann and Dr. Andrew Ray thanks for your professionalism. To Dr. David Connolly and Dr. Sarah O'Brian and the staff of the practice, thank you. To the gravediggers Paul and John Rogers who did an excellent job. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Dorothy's Months Mind Mass will take place tomorrow (Sunday, June 10) at 11.00am in St. Fursey's Church, Haggardstown.
