BYRNE, PJ (Patrick Joseph), (Oliver Byrne of Tramore, Co. Waterford and Monaghan), - July 27, 2018, (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital after a brief illness. He will be hugely missed by his wife Patricia, daughters Caroline and Diana, his son Paul, sister LoLo (O'Donovan) son-in-law Patrick, grandson Charlie, predeceased by his sister Carmel and brothers Fintan and Bernard. A compassionate free-spirit who loved to laugh, he will leave a gap in the lives of his relatives and friends in Ireland and abroad. Reposing at the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan, on Wednesday, August 1, from 12 noon with a celebration of his life at 2pm, followed by removal at 3pm to Lakelands Crematorium for private cremation.May He Rest In Peace

My deepest sympathy to Ollie's family. He was one of a kind, enthusiastic about life. His laughter was infectious. I am especially grateful for his friendship when he stayed with us at Mungret House Hotel, Rathgar, Dublin.
