DALY Rosamond M. (née Colgan), (The Crescent, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath.) February 26, 2011. On her First Anniversary, Rosamond's family Mary (McElwee), Terry, Oliver and Ursula gratefully acknowledge the expression of sympathy on the loss of their beloved mother. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were very special to her and they in turn admired her great joie de vivre sense of style and youthfulness. The love and kindness of their young friends will always be remembered. Rosamond's sister, Sr. Oliver (Mercy Convent, Rosslare), deeply appreciates the support and kindness of the people of Rosslare, particularly Fr. Nolan and Fr. Murphy. The death of a parent is an occasion of great sorrow but the presence of Fr. F. MacNamara and the comfort he gave to our mother gave us great consolation . Our deep gratitude to Fr. Barry Condren who received her with such kind words in to the church she attended over so many years. Our special thanks to Fr. Brendan Nolan P.P. (Our Ladies Island), Canon Lorenzo Cleary (Wexford), Fr. Michael Sheil S.J. (Rector, Clongowes Wood College), Fr. Bruce Bradley S.J. (Rector, Belvedere College), Fr. Vincent Murphy S.J. (C.W.C.), Fr. B. Condren and Fr. R. Kelly who celebrated her Requiem Mass. Imelda Drumm (Mezzo Soprano) marked the solemnity of the occasion and helped fill the lonely void in our hearts. As always, the ongoing support of the Clongowes Jesuit Community is heartening. We were humbled by the large number of people from Tyrrellspass and the surrounding areas who came to pay their respects; a testament to her many years as their local pharmacist. We also acknowledge the guard of honour by her professional colleagues and the staff of McElwee Pharmacies. To those who sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, floral tributes and letters, emails and texts we say thank you most sincerely. We value your thoughtfulness. Thank you Dr. Vivek for your unfailing commitment to her care. We greatly appreciate the loving dedicated care of Nuala, Bernie, Gosia, Geraldine and Jacinta - they each brought a new dimension to her final years. To Rosamond's special friends Sr. Berchmans, Kathleen, Susan and Anne; we would like you to know how much she appreciated your visits and phone calls. Please remember her as we the family will cherish not alone her gift of love and understanding but also your care for our sorrow. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.Requiescat in pace
