End of an Era

Liam O'Cuanaigh has now entered the annals as a legend..... Such a sad time, losing a man of his wit, astuteness, and talent with words and imagery. He was pivotal in raising the profile of the work my father carried out in A.L.O.N.E. when he first made contact with Willie in 1978. Their friendship and camaraderie was profound, unique and productive. The people who benefited were the citizens of this fair city, and those who they loved - for Liam - his wife and children, his siblings, his parents, and his friends. Tomorrow we will gather in his honour, remembering our favourite moments with him, and sharing our love and gratitude for all that he was, all that he did, all that he inspires.
Uncle Liam

So sad to hear of your passing. You left a legacy of beautiful photographs of the family and a beautiful family of course. I still have that Xmas decoration you gave me as a special gift when I was a little girl. You will always be remembered.

Patsy-Ann

Rest easy Liam.

A man bigger than words can express and who loved using those words. Liam was one of my fathers best friends and they completed each other in so many ways. Our families grew up together but sadly drifted in latter years. Liam and Willie are no doubt in some celestial corner, similar to Mulligans, catching up on those years and entertaining each other with black humour and witty one liners. Two greats of this earth gone too early.Rest easy Liam and peace and comfort to all bereaved by your loss. Willie.
