MAHER, R.J. (Ron) (Portmarnock and late of Sutton, Dublin and Suttonians Rugby Club) - 3rd November 2020, peacefully, in the arms of his family after a short but courageous battle, beloved husband of Wendy. Ron will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son Callum, daughter Elysia, mother Maeve, brother Fintan, sisters Olwen and Grainne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, his rugby fraternity, Sutton Dinghy Club, Suttonians Hockey Club, wonderful neighbours and his extensive group of friends and colleagues. Under current restrictions the funeral will be private and may be viewed on the parish webcam at the following link https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-fintans-parish-church-​sut​ton-dublin on Friday Nov. 6th at 11am . Those that would like to send their condolences may do so on the RIP website. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny in Ron's name.

My sincere sincere sympathy on the sad passing of Ronnie. Far too young. He was a pleasure to play rugby with and in recent years meet with his camera. David Cassidy
