O'CONNELL, Tony ("Grangelee", Headfort Road, Kells, Co. Meath and Douglas, Co. Cork) (Second Anniversary, July 24) - Loved and missed every day by his wife Violet, children Valery, Anthony and John.
O'CONNELL Tony (Grangelee House, Headfort Road, Kells, Co. Meath and formerly Grange Terrace, Douglas, Co. Cork.) On the First Anniversary of Tony's death, his wife Violet, daughter Valery, son's Anthony and John, his brother Patrick, sister Veronica and their families, sister-in-law Maureen and family , and extended family, extend their thanks to all who attended his wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, and letters of sympathy and also those who travelled a long distance to be with us. Special thanks to Dr. Ted KcClan and the Cardiology Team and Cardiology Nurse, Bridgeen Kiernan of the Mater Private Hospital, Dr. Kate McGarry of Navan Hospital and Tony's GP, Dr. John O'Connell, Moynalty, for his care and kindness to Tony. We thank Headfort Golf Club, its members, Captain and Lady Captain and Past Captains who formed a Guard of Honour and all staff for their support and kindness. We remember and thank Tony's buddies in the Wrinkley's. To all Tony's colleagues at Wellman International, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, and Navan Carpets and his friends in Kenmore, Scotland, we deeply appreciated their support and all the phone calls of sympathy. We thank Fr. John Byrne PP, Kells, and Fr. Liam Malone CC for the comfort and support they gave us during our sad time. We also thank Matthew Gilsenan and his organist for their music and singing for Tony's funeral Mass. Thanks also to Cathal McEntee for his kindness and professionalism with the funeral arrangements. To our kind friends and neighbours thank you for your support. We hope that this Acknowledgement will be acceptable by all in sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all. We miss Tony every day but realise we were blessed to have had his love and good humour in our lives for as long as we did.
