BEHAN, (nee Flynn) Kathleen (of Dundrum, Dublin and Newport, County Tipperary) - Died peacefully at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin on 20th March 2021, surrounded by her husband Michael and loving family, Úna, Ciara, Fiona, Cormac, Catriona and Áine. Her loving presence will be missed by her eight grandchildren Neeve, Orla, Michael, Sive, Bowen, Caragh, Conor and Jessica, her extended family Angela, George, Bruce, Cathal and Philip and her many friends in Newport and Dundrum. Rest in Peace “She is rich if she receives the merest hint of what she gave”. (Brendan Kennelly) Arrival on Tuesday 23rd March at Holy Cross Church, Dundrum for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m, which can be viewed on Dundrumparish.com/webcam, burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery, Newport, Co. Tipperary arriving at 3pm approx. Brón ar an mbás sé dhubh mo croí se.

We remember her kindness and gentle nature today, and every day. Her husband, Michael, children, Una, Ciara, Fiona, Catriona, Aine, and Cormac, along with her grandchildren in Ireland and Canada would like to most sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us, watched the funeral service online, sent cards, left messages of condolences on RIP.ie and supported us during a time of pandemic restrictions. The family took great comfort from the support extended to us during such a difficult time. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. A Mass will be offered for your intentions.
