GILMARTIN, Dr. John P. Maiben (Ballsbridge Dublin), July 19th 2019 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, after a short illness. Sadly missed by his FitzGerald cousins Barbara, Cliodna, Nesta, Oliver and Ann, also Mary Flaherty (wife of his cousin the late Alexis FitzGerald), his Gilmartin cousins Raymond, Martin and Margaret-Anne, his extended family and many friends. Rest in Peace. Requiem Mass at 11.30 am. tomorrow (Tuesday) in St. Kevin’s Church, Harrington Street, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.

John will be greatly missed by The Friends of the National Collections of Ireland of which he was an erudite and generous President for several years on two occasions. Matthew Russell.
