MacDONALD - David (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) 18th May 2026. Peacefully, with his loving family by his side and in the care of the wonderful staff at the Blackrock Clinic. Beloved husband of Triona and adored dad of Julie and Alan. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, son-in-law Jeff, grandchildren Max and Georgina, sister Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A special thanks to Ms. Zenia Martin, Prof. Rizwan, Dr. Alex Dudley and every single member of the Fitzgerald Unit. We are forever grateful for the care you gave to David and us, his family, over the last 6 months. Reposing in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown tomorrow (Thursday) from 6pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if you prefer to The Samaritans, where David volunteered for years. House private.
