SWEENEY (MacSuibhne). In loving memory of Séamus on his first anniversary (September 8). Deeply missed by his wife Aoife, children Eimear Déarbhla and Donnacha, his mother Áine and brother Éamon, and the Sweeney and Corcoran families. Predeceased by his father Michael. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us at the time of Seamus' sudden death last September and throughout this very challenging year. In particular we thank the walkers who came to Séamus assistance at Mahon Falls, the members of South East Mountain Rescue Association, the Coast Guard Crew, staff of University Hospital Waterford, the Kennedy family, members of An Garda Síochána and Dr Monahan, Coroner. A sincere thanks to our neighbours and communities, in particular our neighbours in Powerstown Way, Clonmel, who rallied around us, fed us and carried us during this time. We are very grateful for the support of Séamus' colleagues in the HSE, and in particular the staff of Carlow Kilkenny Mental Health Services who comforted us at UHW, provided a guard of honour and who continue to support us. Thank you to the Board of Management, staff and pupils of Powerstown National School who provided a Guard of Honour and music, and to Ronan Murray, Organist and Fergus Flynn, Choir Director. Thank you to Fr Aidan Galvin CM and Fr Peter Ahearne PP and the Co-Celebrants for their thoughtful preparation and meaningful requiem Mass. Thank you to Fennessy's Funeral Home for their compassionate and sensitive handling of arrangements. We thank the management and staff of the Minella Hotel who provided catering. To the large numbers, many of whom travelled long distances, who called to our home and attended Séamus' wake and funeral, in particular his patients and their families, we are most grateful. Séamus spirit lives on in the love and support that has enveloped us. The many warm tributes to Séamus in the public media and privately in letters, cards and postcards received, have been a source of comfort. A particular thanks to all of Séamus' wonderful friends who continue to be so supportive of us and who cherish his memory.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.
