O'CONNOR Dr. Peter (Palmerstown, Dublin and late of UCD) - April 28, 2014, (peacefully) at home. Beloved husband and best friend of Beth, he will be greatly missed by his loving wife, children, Conall, Aoife, Sadhbh, Niamh, Peter-Davin, Éamonn and Méadhbh, his dear brother Pádraig, his eleven adored grandchildren, his daughters and sons-in-law, brother and sisters-in-law, and all of his extended family, friends and colleagues. Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) to University Church, St. Stephen's Green arriving at 5.00pm, Funeral Mass on Friday at 11.00am, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross. House private. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

<p>Sincere Sympathy</p> <p>So sorry Beth I was not able to make it up to Dublin for Peter's funeral. Mary said your son gave a moving eulogy at the start of Mass. She was so glad to be able to catch up with you all afterwards. Words mean very little at times like this the loss and sadness is so deep. <p>Our sympathies</p> Beth & Family: We just received a call from Fergus, informing us of Peter's passing and are still in shock. Please accept our sincere condolences. We have many fond memories from our college days and more recently of our get together at Fergus's house. We wish you courage and peace as you journey through the coming days and trust those happy memories will sustain you. Mary & Toni
