BATES, John (Johnny) (Kilbarrack formerly of the Evening Herald, peacefully), January 29, 2022, in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Joan, loving father to John, Richard, Damien, Alan and Barbara. Sadly missed by his wife, children, their partners, grandchildren, sister, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his four legged friend Alice. House private. Reposal tomorrow (Wednesday) 4.00pm to 6.00pm at Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Kilbarrack, Dublin 5, D05KP80. John's Funeral service will be held Thursday (February 3) at 11.00 o'clock at Frank Jennings Funeral Home followed by burial in Balgriffin New Extension Cemetery. Masks and social distance applies at all times when attending the reposal and funeral service in the funeral home. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
