CARTY John (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and Nerja, Spain) March 24, 2016 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and previously, the Mater Private Hospital. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Beatrice, pre-deceased by his brother Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Paul and Brian, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. At John's request, his funeral took place privately on Saturday, March 26, 2016."May he Rest in Peace"

I lived in Springfield, Blackhorse Avenue as a child growing up, John was a fabulous neighbour and always had the time of day for you. He took an interest in what was going on. His big blue eyes were always shining and full of laughter. RIP

A marvelous & generous man, my neighbor in Nerja. I'll miss his bright blue eyes, his chicken cooked upside down, hearing him hum at his kitchen window, sitting with him at the Cafeteria. May God hold him close and comfort his many friends.
