BACUZZI, Dave (Sandyford, Dublin) April 21, 2020 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, to the inexpressible grief of his wife and soul mate Eithne. Forever loved by his children Melissa, David and Anne. Sadly missed by his brother Joe and sister-in-law Patricia, his sons-in-law and daughter-in-law Ronan, Garth and Niamh, his much adored grandchildren Alex, Chloe, Amelia and Emma, his in-laws in Cork, Anne and John, Mary and Denis, Carmel and Myles, his nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends from the world of sport. Special thanks to James and all the staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital. Dave was a true gentleman. His motto "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain". Rest in Peace till we meet again. Due to the exceptional circumstances a private funeral will take place and a celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through info@fanagans.ie

"Grief is love with

nowhere to go."

BACUZZI - Our beloved Dave passed away one year ago today. We miss his smile and the love and joy he brought to all of us. Eithne, David, Anne and Melissa would like to thank most sincerely our family and friends especially Eithne's sisters Anne, Mary and Carmel. We would also like to thank Nuala Deering and Jean McCarthy whose support when Dave was ill was immeasurable. We are grateful for the great support we received from friends and neighbours who left flowers and cakes at the doorstep anonymously. Thank you also to the neighbours and friends who came out to say farewell to Dave, it meant a lot to us. We are grateful to grandchildren Alex, Chloe, Amelia and Emma for the joy they brought to Dave's life.

“To love and be loved

is the greatest gift of all”.

So nice to see Dave remembered. Doing business with him was a real pleasure and I also had the pleasure of seeing him play for Manchester City back in the old days.
