Is this the Nigel who lived in York for a while in the mid 90s? If it is, he was my drinking buddy, confidant, joke teller and top bloke. and a fine guitar player. I miss him.

In disbelief to learn just now of Nigel's passing. He had a lovely laugh. May he rest in peace.

Nigel
Myself and Nigel had great times in the early 80s when he lived 2 doors up from my house. One night myself and Nigel raided his dad's drink cupboard and polished off half bottle of Pernod. Needless to say we were very intixicated aged 17 years old. Our neighbour Mr Keys kindly put Nigel to bed and my brother put me to bed. Nigel was so concerned his dad would find out as we added water to the Pernod left in bottle and it changed colour as it does ! 17 year olds were not to know this happens ! Sadly when Nigel moved to the Uk and I USA , we lost contact. Very sorry to hear of Nigel's passing at too young an age. Mom rang me last Friday to notify me and I was saddened immediately and am still sad. My sincerest condolences to his whole family. Leslie o Neill
