McCONIGLY, Aidan (Ard O Donnell, Letterkenny) died December 12, 2007 - We, the family, sons Paul, Brian and Keith, daughters Anita and Karen, brother Brendan, sister Maura, and Olivia wish to express our deepest appreciation and sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the sad and unexpected loss of our beloved dad and brother Aidan. We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all our family and friends who attended his removal and participated in his wake and funeral Mass and burial, and most especially those who travelled long journeys to personally support and comfort us on our sad loss. We particularly thank the doctors and nurses in the I.C.U. of Letterkenny General Hospital for their excellent care of Aidan and who are extremely gracious and kind to those of us who kept a vigil during his last few days. To the undertakers Pat Kelly, Carndonagh, a sincere thank you for their personal care and attention. To John Magee who paid his own special tribute to Aidan in the local papers, a special word of thanks. Thank you to Fr Seamus Farrelly for a beautiful funeral Mass. To all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, letters and messages of sympathy by phone and text, we are extremely grateful. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
