DARRAGH, Nigel (Clontarf) - May 23, 2016, (peacefully), surrounded by his family, at the Mater Hospital, after a well fought battle, cherished husband and best friend of Fiona and beloved Dad of Victoria and Ian; loved and remembered always by his family, sister Iris, brother Jim and their families, parents-in-law Arthur and Josephine, brothers-in-law Peter and Stephen, the extended family and many friends, especially Val. Our thanks to the staff of ICU and CTHDU, Mater Hospital for all their care and support. Nigel will be at home tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Service on Friday at 11 o'clock in Church of St. John the Baptist, Seafield Road, Clontarf (Church of Ireland), afterwards to Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Mater Foundation.

DARRAGH - Nigel (Fifth Anniversary, May 23) - Dad, the last five years have felt like the first. We miss and love you always, Victoria, Ian and Fiona.
DARRAGH, Nigel (Clontarf, Dublin) - As we approach the First Anniversary of Nigel's passing, his wife Fiona, children Victoria and Ian and the extended Bastable, Bertie, Bentley and Cerasi families wish to thank most sincerely all our wonderful friends, neighbours, colleagues and staff at St. Andrew's College who supported us throughout the years of his prolonged illness - we couldn't have done it without you. We would also like to thank the staff of the Mater Hospital in particular the ICU, CTHDU and Physiotherapists who took such great care of Nigel, Rev. John Marchant and Rev. Lesley Robinson for their pastoral care and support shown to us all. As it would be difficult to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. To Dad, we think of you every day, we miss and love you and wish you were still here with us.
