BARRY Thomas Patrick (Paddy) (First Anniversary, September 22, 2009) - On this the First Anniversary of the passing of our devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend, his sons Ken, Damien, Brendan, Fergus, daughters -in-law, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, brother Brendan and sister Eileen would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many people who supported and comforted the family in his sad passing. Paddy was an intellectual, quiet and dutiful man who was sincere and caring and always devoted to his wife, family and career. Our one comfort at this time is that he has been reunited with his beloved Nancy. In the terrible circumstances that surrounded his sad passing we wish to specially thank those who helped him in his hour of need, the Gardai, the Ambulance Crew and the superb team at Waterford Regional Hospital. The family wishes to particularly highlight the superb care and professionalism shown by Karen Jackman and her team at Waterford Regional Hospital and the Garda liaison officer Ken McDonald. We would like to thank the extended family, former colleagues, neighbours and friends who travelled to and attended the removal and burial, sent Mass cards and letters of condolence and supported us all at a very sad time. In recognition of your kindness and compassion the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. As we may not be able to thank everyone personally we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
