Great to have memories of Coman

I am very sorry to hear of Coman's passing. My dad was a work mate and friend of his since 1967. Thinking of Coman reminds me of my youth and the many occasions he took me to Landsdowne rd. Coman also got me the dream part time job, working in Croke Park when I was 17. Coman and my dad shared a love of horse racing and would spend Saturdays in front of the tv, of course we only heard about the winners! I met Coman a couple of years ago and it was great to see that he hadn't changed, still a kind and gentle man who loved sport and conversation. His like will never be seen again. Sadly the time has passed where people like Coman could live their lives out untarnished by self promotion and ambition. I know my dad is greatly saddened by the loss of his long time friend, Coman was a man to be trusted. I am sad for my dad to have lost his friend but I am also sad that I won't get to meet him again. I will remember him always.
