ROCHE, Jim (Lt. Col. Rtd.) Silliot Hill, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare died June 10, 2017, father of the late John - On this the First Anniversary of his death, his beloved wife Ita, sons Shane, Gavin and Niall, grandchildren and extended family and friends, thank most sincerely all those who supported us in our inexpressable grief. A special word of thanks to those who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, who travelled from abroad, who visited our home or telephoned, who sent so many kind letters, Mass cards and flowers and to our wonderful neighbours. To the ambulance service, Naas, for attending to Jim at our home. Heartfelt thanks to Jim's brother Monsg. John Roche, Kenya, for the deeply moving funeral Mass and homily. To Fr. A. Carbery, to the Parish Choir, and organist David Usher and singer Ann Dunne for the beautiful hymns. To all Army colleagues, serving and retired, for their wonderful support, in particular Col. Tom Carter (Retd.) for his assistance to the family. To the pallbearers from the CIS corps, Curragh Command. To the staff of the Ceannt Officer's Mess who catered so efficiently and courteously after the funeral. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful members of Cill Dara GC for their overwhelming support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all. Love and memories never die, as each of us remember you in our own special way. Anniversary Mass in St. Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare Town, will be celebrated on June 17 at 11am.
