McLINDON (née Leeson), Emily (Nance), February 15, 2013 - A year later, her family lovingly remember Emily (and her beloved Don, August 15, 1970) today, and every day. We are profoundly grateful for the support given to us, both during Emily's short final illness, and after she died. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all the extended family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who gave us both practical and pastoral support, when it was most needed; to all who wrote and shared meaningful memories and words of sympathy; to Drs Lynch and Rochfort, Joan Fogarty and her wonderful Homecare Palliative Team, without whom it would have been impossible to care for Emily at home, as she wished; to the medical staff at Wexford General Hospital and St Vincent's University Hospital who treated Emily for a decade; to the Medical Department of Trinity College Dublin for their sensitive professionalism in receiving Emily's body for donation to medical science; to Dáithí and the late Olive who gave us lifelong support and friendship; and to Leslie and Janet, who stood with us shoulder to shoulder, every step of the way.
