HASSETT, (née Finucane) Thérèse (Monkstown, Co. Dublin) April 23, 2023. Peacefully at home with her family by her side. Dearly beloved wife of the late Dermot, devoted and caring mother to Joanne and Leo and sister to the late Thomas, Noel and Marian. Thérèse will be very sadly and greatly missed by her loving children, grandchildren Iseult, Sadbh, Katie, Rose, Luka and Daniel, daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Ronan, her sister Dorothy, brothers-in-law Philip and John, sisters-in-law Aileen and Usha, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and her wide circle of friends. To acknowledge our gratitude for the care that Mum received at home, we kindly ask for donations, in lieu of flowers, to Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock and/or The Irish Cancer Society. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Rest in Peace.

Belatedly learnt of the passing of the lovely Therese. Leo and Joanne, you have our deepest sympathy. We treasure the memories of our so many happy days as neighbours and friends. May you mam and dad, together now, rest in peace. Sally, Daryl and Ian.

So very sorry to lose yet another of my adopted Irish family members. Warmest thoughts and fondest memories of Thomas, Marian and now Therese and of course, my dearest and closest friend Noel. Rest in Peace my friends, you will never be forgotten !
