TIERNEY, (née Cafferky), Bridget, T.O.S.F. (Glasnevin, late of St. Margaret's, Co. Dublin and Kilmovee, Co. Mayo) June 22 2016, (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital, cherished wife of the late Patrick, much loved mother of Matt, Jim, Patricia and Aidan and devoted sister of Sr. Bosco; Bea will be sadly missed by her loving sons and daughter, sister, daughters-in-law, her ten grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister-in-law Marie, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand this (Friday) evening from 5 o'c until 7 o'clock Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin arriving at 9.50 o'c for 10 o'c Requiem Mass. Funeral afterwards to Glasnevin Cemetery."May she Rest in Peace"
TIERNEY (née Cafferky) Bridget (Bea) (late of Glasnevin, Dublin, St. Margaret's, Co. Dublin and Kilmovee, Co. Mayo. - On this, the First Anniversary of her peaceful death, we, her children Matt, Jim, Patricia and Aidan wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with the family at that sad time, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended the reposing, removal, funeral Mass and burial many of whom travelled long distances to do so. We especially thank the staff of St. Anne's Ward of the Mater Hospital who attended to Bea so professionally during her short few hours there and who compassionately oversaw our mother's peaceful journey from this world to her eternal reward. We also warmly thank the staff at St. Francis Hospice for their wonderful palliative care to Bea. We thank sincerely our families for their support through this difficult time and during this past year. We thank Fr. Richard Sheehy at Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin and his bereavement group for helping to make the funeral such a dignified and warm ceremony which was a fitting tribute to Bea's long and fruitful life. Please accept this acknowledgment as sincere thanks for your sympathy on this sad occasion. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The First Anniversary Mass will be held at Our Lady of Dolours, Glasnevin at 10.00am today.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis
