CLARKE, Joan (née Gelletlie) (of Clondara, Ashford, Co Wicklow) - Died peacefully at home on Sunday, 30th January 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late William J. (Billy) Clarke and much-loved mother of David, Stephen, Brian, Michael and Caroline. She will be remembered with love by her 16 adored grandchildren, daughters-in-law, Lena, Liz, Jenny, Niamh and son-in-law Stuart. Sadly missed by her treasured sisters and brothers, Helen, Ruth, Richard and Tom, extended family and wide circle of friends. May she rest in peace Reposing at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk in Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Monday, 31st January. Leaving the family home on Tuesday morning (1st February) at 10.45am, walking to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford arriving for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery. House private, please. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. The Mass will be recorded and available for viewing later on Tuesday.
