McDONALD Seamus (Shay), (Died November 23, 2011) - Shay's wife Lucy together with Barry, Leonie and Suzanne, his sister Beatrice, brother T.J. and their extended families wish to thank most sincerely their relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness and support. Thanks to all who visited Shay, sent Mass cards, letters, and messages of sympathy from Ireland and overseas, and to those who visited our home and attended the Requiem Mass. Our special thanks to Fr. Ignatius Waters CP, Mount Argus and Niall Morris who made the funeral Service so special. We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff involved in Shay's care at St. James's Hospital, the Irish Medicines Board and to Shay's former colleagues in Irish Shell, the Olympic Council of Ireland and members of the I.A.G.A. While it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we are particularly grateful to Tim and Bertha Walsh, Liam and Mary Garrahan and Rioch McElinn for their support both during Shay's illness and since his passing. Sincere thanks to those who made donations to the Simon Community, The Capuchin Day Centre and The Hospice, Harolds Cross. We are especially grateful for the joy, love and laughter which Shay brought to our lives, and for the very happy memories of life with him. We hope that this acknowledgement will serve as a token of our thanks and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
