FOLEY, Patrick J. Foley (Kendalsbrae, Douglas Road, Cork). Acknowledgement and First Anniversary April 18, 2017 - On the first anniversary of Pat's death, his wife Deirdre, son Hugh, daughters Vivienne, Jean and Patricia, and extended families, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We especially remember the many people who attended the Rosary, removal, and funeral Mass, many travelling long distances. Your Mass cards, Mass Enrolments, messages of condolence and floral tributes were all greatly appreciated. A special thank you to those who provided a Guard of Honour from his beloved Muskerry Golf Club, Mahon Golf Club, Waterville Golf Club, Munster Branch of the GUI, GUI Officials, Belvedere Hockey Club and Schull Sailing Club. Our eternal gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork for their dedicated care and compassion to Pat during his illness. A special thank you to Dr. Con Murphy and Dr. Conor O'Shea for their professionalism and friendship over many years. Our deepest appreciation to Fr. Liam O'Regan, Fr. George O'Mahony and Canon John K O'Mahony who officiated at his funeral Mass. To the priests of Douglas/Rochestown Parish and to the Good Shepherd Sisters whose support to him was immense. Sincere thanks to Fiona O'Reilly for her beautiful singing and to the staff of O'Connor's Funeral Home for their support and professional service. To all Pat's many friends and acquaintances, too numerous to mention, who were so wonderful during this time, we are truly grateful. For the unconditional love and support Pat received from his lifelong friends Johnny and Brendan, a special thank you. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. May he rest in peace.
Your life was one of kindly deeds
A helping hand for others needs
Sincere and true
In heart and mind
