FORBES née Morgan, Forbes ( née Morgan) Maura , Clontarf/Raheny and originally Glinsk, East Galway, widow of Michael J Forbes, slipped away peacefully on 12 December in the loving, attentive and devoted care of the staff of St Gabriel's Nursing Home, Raheny after 98 happy years of life. Mourned and celebrated by her six children, Patrick, Aileen (Byrne) Dermot, Sheelagh (Malone), Michael, Ian, fourteen grandchildren, spouses and partners, fourteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, the kindest of neighbours. Will be greatly missed, but is at peace: "I shall arise and go now, and go to Inishfree....And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow". In repose from Wednesday 3 pm at Stafford's Funeral Home, North Strand. Removal to St Gabriel's Church Clontarf' Thursday evening,arriving at 5 pm. Funeral after 10 am Mass on Friday 15 December.
