Ó CINNÉIDE Professor Barra (Ruan, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick) (June 4, 2011) - Pat, Cara and Eoin and Barra's sister, Claire (O'Connell) wish to express their sincere appreciation to all who supported them throughout Barra's illness and passing. To Dr. Aidan Culhane GP, the professional medical teams at Limerick Regional Hospital and the Stroke Unit, St. Camillus Hospital. To all at Rosary Hill Nursing Home, Castleconnell for their exceptional care during his last months. To our extended family, our wonderful friends and neighbours for their support and practical help. Barra's former colleagues and staff at the University of Limerick. To his special friends who drove long distances to see him during his illness and kept in contact by phone and letters. Your thoughtfulness was much appreciated. To those who called to the house, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and attended the funeral, thank you so much for your support. To Fr. Brendan Kyne and all who officiated and helped at the ceremonies, our deep gratitude.
