YOUNG, PhD, Dr. George P., (Blackrock Co.Dublin, formerly Terenure, Dublin 6), June 6, 2018, (very peacefully) in the care of the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Adored husband and best friend to Liz, loving and wonderful father to David, Elizabeth and Robert. Beloved son of the late Marie and Patrick. George will be fondly missed by his mother-in-law Betty Roche, Bobby, Peter, Richard, Kate and Helen; All of George’s in-laws, Teresa, Thecla, Mary, Caroline and Jonathan, nieces, nephews, extended family, wide circle of friends and colleagues will miss their true and loyal friend. Predeceased by his father-in-law Jim, and brothers-in-law Michael and Mike (Burge), and sister-in-law Lesley. It was George’s wish to advance medical research at the UCD School of Medicine. To this end, we will mark his life and achievements with a Celebratory Mass at 10am, tomorrow (Saturday) June 9, in the Church of St.Thérèse, Mount Merrion.
