I am so very sorry to learn of Courtneys passing. he was my godfather. He was so supportive of me and he introduced me to Opera with his operatic company in Sligo, Castlebar in the 70s. Often went to Balinrobe with my mum and dad, Mary and Guy Eddis, and sisters, staying with his mum Maeve, house. Thinking of Francis now. RIP Courtney. Love Gay Eddis

Courtney was a wonderful friend and I adored him. We did a great deal of work together between 2015 and 2020.

I feel so fortunate to have spent a little time with Courtney a just year before he passed away, at the time of my late brother's funeral. He was the one who so kindly suggested the beautiful Etchingham church for the service and was so supportive throughout. I was so sad to hear the news and to find him in the churchyard, with Caroline, yet at the same time I know that he will be at peace and reunited with Caroline and his family. Courtney was always a true gentleman, softly spoken, kind and with great musical talent. Courtney and my late father, Leslie, studied together and it was Courtney who was partly responsible for introducing our parents. He was always very special and a part of the fabric of my life. May he rest in peace. Sending much love and deepest sympathy to Francis.

I first knew my cousin Courtney in 1945, and my late wife and I visited him many times since. He was a talented musician, a great talker and a hospitable friend. My condolences to Francis. Dermot Killingley

BELOVED MUSICAL FRIEND Courtney, such a special wonderful friend since we met at the Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Symposium in 1997. You and Caroline and Francis were so hospitable when Lee Bouvier and I visited England in 2009. Becky Livas.

Grainne Conroy The passing of Courtney Kenny was remembered at Sunday Mass on 31st October in St Mary's Church, Ballinrobe. Courtney never forgot his hometown roots. And over fifty years ago, he brought Glyndbourne Opera to the town. RIP
