O'CONNOR, Michael V. (Goatstown), July 25, 2014 - On this, the first anniversary of Michael's death, his wife Jo and family Maurice, Colm, Oliver, Carmel and Ray would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with them on their sad loss. We really appreciated the numerous Mass offerings, cards, letters and calls received, and all who attended Michael's funeral Mass. To the staff of St Vincent's University Hospital and Clonskeagh Hospital, Vergemount who cared for Michael during his illness with such dedication and gentleness, our heartfelt thanks, and thanks also the chaplains of St Vincent's and Clonskeagh who supported Michael throughout. Thank you to Fanagans Funeral Directors Dundrum for the professionalism with which they conducted the funeral arrangements. To Fr. Gary Donegan CP (Holy Cross, Ardoyne) who led a family Rosary and to the Priests and Deacon of Holy Cross Parish Dundrum who officiated at the beautiful and uplifting Requiem Mass for Michael, we cannot thank you enough. Special thanks to vocalist, Michael's granddaughter Louise, and organist Patrice for their wonderful rendition of Michael's favourite hymns. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.
