BYRNE Paddy (Bray, Co. Wicklow and late of Murdochs) - April 17, 2014. Suddenly at home in his 94th year, beloved husband of the late Marie, dearly loved Dad of Mary, Pat, Anne, David and Andrew, father-in-law of Michael, Jane and Anne, proud granddad of Michelle, Jenny, Sarah, Ellie, Joanna, Carl, Ross, Harry and Katie, dear brother of Kathleen, Mary, Terry and Philomena. He will be remembered with love by all his family and friends. Removal on Monday (April 21) at 4.45pm from Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray arriving at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (April 22) at 1.00pm followed by funeral to Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.Re-united with his beloved Marie

Paddy's wife Kathleen, sons Liam and Cormac, brothers Johnny and Liam, sisters Mary and Kay (Delaney), daughter-in-law Miriam and extended family wish to thank everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement; to those who sent Mass cards, letters, phone calls and messages of sympathy, to all those who attended at the Funeral Home and the Mass, and to those who travelled long distances, to his former colleagues in Dublin Corporation, to our neighbours and friends, to Bronagh and all her staff at the Harvey Nursing Home, Terenure, to his GP, Dr. Pat McCarthy, to Dr. Jenny Westrup and the Oncology Unit at the Beacon Hospital, to the principal celebrant at the Funeral Mass, Fr. Noel Redmond, C.S.Sp., Templeogue College and to his co-celebrants Fr. John Flavin, C.S.Sp., St. Mary's College, Rathmines, Fr. Flan Daffy, C.Ss.R., Philippines, Fr. Joe Delaney, P.P., Newport, Co. Tipperary, Fr. Donal McCarthy, S.C.A., Pallottine Fathers, Fr. Alfie Murphy, P.E., Carbury, Co. Kildare, to Fanagans Funeral Directors, to the Organist Ann McNulty and the Soloist Deirdre Seaver, to all in St. Mary's College Rugby Football Club.
