EADIE, (née Reynolds) Bridget ‘Bridie’ (Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly of Grallagh, Ballinagare, Roscommon) - who passed away suddenly aged 91 on July 20, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her devoted husband Jim (formerly of the NUJ). Also remembering her late parents John and Mary, brothers Eamonn and Michael, sisters Virginia, Vera, Theresa (Teri), and son-in-law, Antonio (Girona). Cherished and devoted mum to Deirdre, Caroline, Colm and Jimmy. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts by her loving family, adored grandchildren Aran, Carlos and Marta, James and Ruby, sisters Eithne (Galvin), May (Izard) and brother Joe, brothers-in-law Francis, Bruce, Pat (Eadie) and sisters-in-law Margaret Reynolds, Rose (Finn), daughters-in-law Ruth and Rosa, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family in the U.K. Spain and Italy, friends and dear neighbours. We would like to express our gratitude to our Community Health Centre (Ballinteer), her GP Dr. Brian Fagan and all the staff and day carers at Castle Homecare, together with our night carers who took such great care of Mum. Also a thank you to the paramedics and Garda Siochana for all their help and assistance. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on (Wednesday) 24th July from 5pm to 7pm. A private service will take place on Thursday 25th July, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park – arriving at approximately 12:45pm.
