FARRELL (née Cassidy) Berna (Gortmalogue, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary) (Died May 1, 2009 - First Anniversary) - Denis, Mary, Nancy, Ruth, Sr. M. Agnes (Cassidy) and our extended family wish to express sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Berna. We wish to extend our deepest thanks to the entire medical profession and also to the devoted carers, whose loving help enabled us to look after Berna in the comfort of her own home. A sincere thank you to Fr Billy Meehan, Fr Pat Hayes, Fr Brendan Crowley, Fr Greg Power and Fr Tony O'Connell for the beautiful Liturgy and celebration of Berna's life. Thanks also to Eddie Sweetman. To St Mary's Senior Choir, of which Berna was a member, we thank you for your wonderful singing and for providing the Guard-of-Honour and also for your moving tribute in song at her final resting place. You are truly wonderful friends. A special word of gratitude to our neighbours and friends in Gortmalogue and Glenconnor for showing your support in so many ways. We are most grateful to all our friends who travelled long distances to both the Removal and Requiem Mass and to everyone who called to our home. Your presence in Clonmel was a great source of comfort to us. We have been overwhelmed by the many Mass Cards, letters, phone calls and emails received; to everyone who sent expressions of sympathy in any way, we thank you so much. We thank Fennessy's Undertakers who carried out their duties with respect and reverence. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
